Indian Head "Buffalo" Nickels

Either name applies to this beautiful nickel. One of the most iconic American designs for a coin - it features a composite image of 3 different Native American Models with the bison on the reverse being a model of the famous "Black Diamond" buffalo who resided at the New York Central Park Zoo. These were minted from 1913 through 1938.
