US "Double Eagle" $20 Gold

The Double Eagle was the largest denomination gold coin ever produced with a face value of $20. With many scarce date and high grade coins seen in Heritage Auctions, the double eagle is one of the most sought after gold coins. A bit late to the game, the double eagle was minted from 1849 up through 1933.
